RHYTHM SECTION APPROACH and MELODIC INTERPRETATION
(for
all instruments as well as singers)
This
is an interactive workshop, where the students will develop a better

They
will experience and feel the Brazilian “swing” by playing their
primary instrument (whether melodic or from the rhythm section) or
singing.
The
students will also be exposed to playing easy patterns on a secondary
instrument (i.e. percussion) in order to understand better the interaction
among the rhythm section instruments and between the rhythm section and
the melody on this style
